About Us

At Talon Strike Software, our aim is to create simple solutions to target specific needs. We do this by partnering with our customers to build what they need without extras they don't. We specialize in web and mobile (particularly iOS) solutions across a myriad of technologies. Check our products to see how we address our customer's needs.

Who Are We

We are small company based in North Carolina. We were established in 2012 with the release of our first iOS app, Pain Logger. Since then we have continued to expand our portfolio and bring in other past projects we have worked under the Talon Strike Software name.

We have over 20 years of application development experience. We have three years of mobile application experience both on Android and iOS.

Core Values

We firmly beleive in Polyglot programming. Essentially this means we will use the right technology for the job. We are not afraid to learn new technologies and apply them to the problems we are solving.

We strive to be honest and open with our clients. We believe and practice agile development. Our goal is to come alongside our clients and discuss their needs and have a continous dialog with them during the development of their solution so informed decisions are made and we build what they want.

We chose our projects carefully based on the following criteria:

  • Is the project an iOS or web based solution?
  • Will the project use a technology we know or are interested in?
  • Do we have the time to work the project?

We ultimate goal is to partner with our clients to make great solutions

Although we believe in using whatever technology is best for the solution we are making, because of our small size, we have a small set of targeted technologies that we are currently concentrating on:

  • Ruby on Rails - We use this for most of our web applications
  • iOS - This is our area of concentration for mobile solutions

That's not to say we're not interested in working with other technologies but right now these are what we are focusing on.

Here is a list of some of the other technologies we use or have used on past solutions

  • Java
  • SQL
  • Linux/Windows/OSX
  • Objective-C
  • Swift
  • Ruby
