QuantaTime Privacy Policy

QuantaTime ("we," "our," or "us") is owned, operated, and maintained by Talon Strike Software Solutions. We value your trust and are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use QuantaTime.
By using QuantaTime, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide and improve our services.
a) Information You Provide
- Customer Support: When you contact us (support@talonstrikesoftware.com), we collect your email and any details you provide to resolve your request. This information is deleted once no longer needed.
- Cloud Services (if enabled): Your data is stored in your iCloud account held and managed by Apple. We do not have access to your data nor does any of your data pass through our servers. It is strictly shared with Apple within your account.
b) Information Collected Automatically
- Technical Data: Device type, operating system version, crash logs, app performance data.
- Usage Data: Aggregated, non-identifiable data on feature usage to improve QuantaTime.
- Advertising: QuantaTime does not show ads, as a courtesy to its users and to its developer.
- Purchase History: QuantaTime uses a Third-Party Service (revenuecat.com) for in app purchase management. Please see their privacy policy for additional details. As a minimum the service collects a user's purchase history to provide analytical information, and to ensure app functionality (i.e. the app behaves as required)
c) Children's Data
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or 16 in the EU without parental consent). If we learn a child has provided information, we will promptly delete it.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve QuantaTime.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide customer support.
- Deliver optional features such as cloud backup/sync.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Sharing of Information
We may share your data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: With trusted third parties who help us operate QuantaTime (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processing).
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect safety, rights, and property.
- Business Transfers: If we undergo a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred, with notice provided.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Most user data (tasks, logs, schedules) is stored locally on your device.
- If optional cloud services are used, we employ industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL in transit, AES-256 at rest).
- Despite our safeguards, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
5. Your Privacy Rights
Under GDPR (EU/UK)
If you are located in the EU/UK, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Restrict or object to processing of your data.
- Request a portable copy of your data.
- Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).

Under CCPA/CPRA (California, USA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Request disclosure of categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell your data).
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

6. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary:
- Support emails: kept until your request is resolved, then deleted.
- Technical logs: kept for a limited time for troubleshooting, then anonymized.
- Cloud backup/sync data: kept as long as you use the feature or until deleted.
7. International Data Transfers
If you access QuantaTime from outside the United States, note that your data may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses under GDPR) are in place.
8. Your Choices & Opt-Out
- You can stop all information collection by uninstalling QuantaTime.
- You may request deletion of your account data by deleting the app.
9. Privacy Policies of Third Parties
QuantaTime may link to external services (e.g., cloud providers, specifically Apple). Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via website posting. Please review regularly for updates.
